The Business Builder AI Toolkit™ is a digital tool available to authorised Digital Profits HQ members. This section explains how information provided through the Toolkit is collected, used and processed.
### Information collected through the Toolkit
When you use the Business Builder AI Toolkit™, we may collect and process:
* your Digital Profits HQ account and membership information;
* information you enter into Toolkit questionnaires and forms;
* information you provide about your business, customers, marketing, products, services and goals;
* your saved Toolkit progress and current tool status;
* reports and recommendations generated through the Toolkit; and
* other information you voluntarily provide while using the Toolkit.
We only collect and process information that is reasonably necessary to provide and operate the Toolkit and its features.
### How Toolkit information is used
Your information may be used to:
* generate personalised Toolkit reports and recommendations;
* save your current Toolkit progress and generated reports;
* provide and maintain your access to the Toolkit;
* monitor usage limits and prevent misuse;
* maintain the security and functionality of the Toolkit; and
* provide support and troubleshoot technical issues.
We do not use your Toolkit information for unrelated purposes unless permitted or required by applicable law.
### AI processing
The Business Builder AI Toolkit™ currently uses services provided by **OpenAI** to generate certain reports, recommendations and other AI-generated outputs.
Information necessary to generate a report may therefore be transmitted to OpenAI’s API for processing on our behalf.
OpenAI provides business/API customers with data protection arrangements under which OpenAI processes customer data as a data processor where applicable. OpenAI states that, by default, inputs and outputs submitted through its business offerings, including the API, are not used to train or improve its models unless the customer has explicitly opted in to applicable data-sharing arrangements.
OpenAI may process data through its affiliates and approved subprocessors as necessary to provide its services. Details of OpenAI’s current subprocessors and processing locations are maintained by OpenAI and may change from time to time.
The Toolkit does not require you to provide sensitive personal information about yourself or other individuals. You should avoid entering information that is unnecessary for the Toolkit’s purpose, particularly sensitive personal data, confidential information belonging to another person or organisation, passwords, payment information or other highly sensitive information.
### Storage and retention
Toolkit data is stored using the systems required to operate the Toolkit, including our application and database infrastructure.
The Toolkit is designed for V1 to retain the latest relevant questionnaire state, current tool status and the latest generated report rather than maintaining a permanent history of all reports or projects.
Information may also be temporarily processed or retained by third-party service providers used to operate the Toolkit, including OpenAI, in accordance with their applicable contractual, security and data-protection arrangements.
The retention period for information processed by third-party providers may differ from the retention period within the Toolkit itself.
### Cancellation and deletion
If your Digital Profits HQ membership or Toolkit access is cancelled, your Toolkit access will normally be removed or disabled.
Where applicable, you may request deletion of personal information associated with your Toolkit account. We will deal with deletion requests in accordance with applicable data-protection law and our legal and operational obligations.
Some information may need to be retained for a limited period where required by law, necessary to establish or defend legal claims, or otherwise permitted under applicable data-protection legislation.

Digital Profits HQ is committed to handling personal information in accordance with applicable UK data-protection legislation, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018.
